About Us

Miles is the founder and owner of Wobbleton Law, PLLC, and also serves as of counsel for firms and companies across the country, handling their complex corporate, transactional, and securities matters.

Miles has years of prior practice experience, including as an associate in the banking and finance practice of Mayer Brown LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the private equity, corporate, and finance practices of Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan, LLP in Raleigh, North Carolina. Miles was also a summer associate at Troutman Sanders LLP (now Troutman Pepper Locke LLP) in Atlanta, Georgia. During his undergraduate career, Miles also interned with the Public Policy and Regulation Practice Group of Holland & Knight LLP in Washington, D.C.

Through such positions, Miles has worked on billions of dollars in transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings, and debt financings, from cross-border structured finance to venture debt. Miles has also handled hundreds of millions of dollars in private equity and venture capital fund formations as well as assisted start-up companies and entrepreneurs with their myriad needs, including multi-million-dollar equity financings.

In addition to his legal career, Miles is also an experienced social entrepreneur and consummate community and civic leader. Miles is the founder of Gen KIND, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners and collaborates with celebrities, influencers, and brands to inspire creative generosity, and a co-founder of Good Solar Organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides consulting services in the renewable energy industry and is a recipient of an award from the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association. 

Miles has served in board capacities for Activate Good, Journeymen Triangle, Band Together NC, and the Public School Forum of North Carolina. Miles also served on the North Carolina Courts Commission at the North Carolina General Assembly. 

Miles is also a graduate of several prominent leadership development programs, including Leadership North Carolina, the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership, Leadership Triangle, and Leadership Raleigh.

Miles is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he graduated with high honors and was elected to the Order of the Coif, and Campbell University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
